Project Overview
The brief
Supporting Education Group (SEG) is a family of services built to support schools, trusts and educators, from qualifications and training to SEND and inclusion, recruitment, and the professional services that keep schools running smoothly.
As the group grew, the brand needed to keep up with it. They didn’t want a reinvention – the logo already had recognition and equity. What they needed was a clearer, more confident identity built around it: something consistent, flexible and ready to support multiple services and audiences. Plus a new website to match.
The process
We started with an honest audit.
We looked at how the brand was actually be used in pitch decks, social posts, internal comms, across the group’s various services. How it really looked in day-to-day use.
From there, we got a clearer view on what to protect, what to simplify, where the inconsistencies were, and where the brand needed room to grow. That gave us a strong foundation to evolve SEG without losing what already made it recognisable.
Next, we lightly refined the logo, built a stronger brand system around it, and created practical guidelines for daily team application. Then we brought it all to life online with a new website shaped by the refreshed identity, with accessibility considered from the start across colour, type, layout, and usability.
The results
SEG now has a brand that behaves as well as it looks.
- The logo feels sharper, more intentional and more consistent
- Colour, typography and imagery now work together across the whole group
- Internal teams have clarity and confidence in how to apply the brand
- The new website feels aligned and accessible
Most importantly, the brand now reflects the organisation SEG already was: confident, cohesive and supportive. It’s not louder, nor flashier. Just clearer.
It has given SEG a visual language that can grow alongside the group.
