Thrive

Project Overview

The brief

Thrive supports schools to better understand and meet the social and emotional needs of children and young people. As the business evolved, the brand needed to evolve with it.

Thrive works across multiple audiences, from senior decision-makers and MAT leaders to pastoral teams and practitioners working directly with learners. The identity needed to feel credible and established in education settings, while still warm, optimistic and human.

It also needed to modernise carefully. The ask here was not to reinvent the wheel, but to confidently enable the brand to be positioned across primary and secondary school environments, and feel as evidence-lead as the Thrive approach itself. Balancing empathy with credibility.

The process

We kicked things off with a brand strategy and discovery workshop to get clear on Thrive’s position, audiences and role in the sector. Together, we shaped a brand that feels professional without being corporate, friendly without feeling childish, and confident without ever becoming too much.

From there, we developed a refreshed identity built around accessibility, usability and flexibility, something that works just as well in everyday classroom resources and training materials as it does in polished comms. Once the system was in place, we rolled it out across marketing assets, print and motion, always with the same goal in mind: clear, consistent and easy to use.

The results

Thrive now has a refreshed brand foundation that feels expert, approachable and built for in and outside the classroom. We helped sharpen its position within the sector, create a confident identity that balances warmth with credibility, and build a practical system that works across marketing, training and practitioner materials with far more consistency.

The brand now does a lot of the heavy lifting, working harmoniously with work that Thrive provide. It helps Thrive show up as the knowledgeable, compassionate organisation it has always been, now with a modern presence that feels true to its purpose and legacy.

The client said

We were blown away by their creativity and fell in love with one of the concepts straight away – we’ve now committed to a 12-month retainer. They genuinely feel like an extension of our team, and we honestly can’t imagine not having their support now.
